Didn’t go to Harry Potter premiere, Leicester Square is going to be a madhouse. Instead will watch a movie, maybe shop :)i am not a bum!! would you like to stand outside in hale for 5 hours?? i think not…

So I was thinking…
How cool is music…its something we have had in common from the earliest civilizations. To think that every group or tribe or country or population of people had some kinds of music. Its like music is pre-wired in our genetic make up..its a part of all of us. It bonds the un-bondable, it cheers us up when we are sad. Music that we listen to now is a mix of so many cultures and ethnicitys. Its what gave people hope during the depression its what soldiers use to take their mind of marching. It makes work better and keeps us tapping our toes. People use it to praise whatever God might be to them from all forms of organized religion. Songs make us fall in love and songs help us when love falls apart. Music is like this weird universal language that we can all relate to no matter what our pasts look like or where we live on the globe or even what kind of person we are now. A saint and a serial killer can still have the same appreciation of music. It just blows my mind that we take this for granted so much because its all around us. Its just makes me think every time I write a new verse or play a cool new little hook how much power is in the the music we play and listen to. In the end music is what can bring us all together :-)

Getting lost in my brain.
What would it look like if people could have eyes any color of the rainbow? Does it change the way I see the color blue. Why is music such an incredible thing, why do melodic words in motion touch a special cave in your gut?…I really enjoy music and the acoustic guitar it hits that exact spot in my gut. every single time. I want to see what the earth looks like now, hug a stranger, go to dinner and movie by myself and be comfortable, see sound waves or microwaves…write a list of words that sound exactly like they feel. Caress, sponge, luxurious…
